The week before last, I was part of an informal conference call Ed Healy put together among a handful of board game pros. Thrill, if you like, to my passionate plea that board games aspire to something more than being worse versions of World of Warcraft.
The format was nice; I especially enjoyed the different-to-me perspectives that Hans Isaacson (a retailer) and Scott Nicholson (a video podcaster and academic) brought to the discussion. I hope Ed decides to do more of these.
